We are very close to the Hamfest for March 15, 2014. We have some great things planned for everyone.
Doors will open for the public at 9:30. We would like the volunteers to be there at 7:00 AM to get your tshirts and your assignments where you will be working. Registration could probably come at 8:00 AM and we will start selling admission tickets as soon as we start to get a line.
The Tailgate area will start filling up at 7:00 or before, so those volunteers should probably be there by 6:00 AM.
As many volunteers as possible and especially those who can help with the set up and take down, need to be there on Friday afternoon by 3:00 PM. We can get in the Pavilion at 3:00 PM. Same for the Tailgate and RV section on Friday afternoon. RV’s and Tailgaters that want both days will start coming in on Friday afternoon.
The rest of the volunteers have been notified by your Chairman when they would like you to arrive. Lots of prep work and Vendors will start coming in at 4:00 PM on Friday. Those in RV’s will be there earlier to set up their RV’s.
We want to thank everyone for all their help and understanding. We appreciate everyone and apologize if we stepped on anyone’s toes in the interim. It is a big undertaking and everyone’s help is greatly appreciated. Lots of stress, and lots of things to remember. We probably repeat ourselves numerous times but it is better to repeat than forget altogether.
