This month we are pleased to have Riverside County EMD come and present to us about El Niño. The speakers name is Jerry Hagen. He will be presenting about what El Niño is and what Riverside County is doing to help educate the residents and what preparations are being made at the county level.

In Feb we will have CVWD come and present about their emergency plans and what is being done within Coachella Valley to help keep us safe during this El Niño year. CVWD is in charge of maintenance of the levee’s and retention dams within Coachella Valley. CVWD is also the largest water district in Coachella Valley with the most customers.
