Our next meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 20th at the usual place (3000 E. Alejo Rd. Palm Springs).
Andre Hansen, K6AH will present an overview of how AREDN Mesh technology works. Over the past 2 years, the adoption of this technology has mushroomed into a network spanning seven Southern California counties from the Mexican border, north to Santa Barbara, and east to Coachella Valley. Several ARES and Red Cross ham teams stand ready to deploy the network when and where needed to support the needs of governmental and private disaster-response agencies across a population base of over 18 million people. Andre will also discuss how this technology could also serve the Emcom needs of our Coachella Valley community.
