The Great Shakeout 2019

At 10:17 AM on October 17, 2019, millions of people will practice Drop, Cover, and Hold On through ShakeOut. Many people and organizations will also practice other aspects of their emergency plans.

Local ARES members and all hams are encouraged to check into the local ARES net. Just check in with your call and location or fabricate a situation. Meaning a status report of where you are located, injuries, property damage etc.

ARES will be operating out of American Legion Post 519 K6TAL as a temporary EOC. The frequencies we will be using is as follows:

          10:18 AM until about 10:40 San J repeater. 146.760 pl 107.6

          10:40 AM – 10:50 the WB6RLC 440 machine 445.640 pl 107.6

          10:50 AM – 10:55 RATS 220 machine 224.480 pl 110.9

          11:00 AM  7.278 MHz +/- 5
