Sale of Ham and Military Radio Equipment

As you may already have heard, Michael Brennan KA6PGN became a silent key about a month ago.

His entire collection of military and Ham radios is for sale. There are a few pieces of Ham gear but over a hundred pieces of military radio gear. There are also several towers and all sorts of antennas from HF to UHF, plus antenna bits and pieces, stock and parts. Lots of older test equipment.

All of it must go!

There will be a giant yard sale of the radios on April 4th and 5th at Michaels QTH. 3004 CAMINO DR, THERMAL CA 92274. Actually, nearer Salton City.

The sale will start on April 4th at 8 AM. Please, no early birds. Please do not call Laura (Michaels wife). Laura has asked that I be the point man for all of this and that all communications go through me.

Bring lots of cash, and a truck or trailer. Again, it all needs to go.

The directions are simple. Interstate 10 east to Hwy 86, south. Exit Treadwell to the left. It’s just past the big Red Earth gas station/casino. Stay on Treadwell as it turns towards the sea. It ends at Camino Dr. and you are there.

Some of the Ham gear for sale is: (2) Heathkit SB200 linear amps, Kenwood TS 2000 HF-VHF Transceiver, Kenwood TS-850 HF, Elecraft K3, several 2M/440 and 220 radios, some vintage tube Ham gear, several new and older Oscillocopes, analyzers, LDG antenna tuners, signal generators, mulitmeters. Tons of just stuff, connectors, cables, parts. Need a lathe or a mill? That too.

… And more power supplies than 2 men and a boy could cart off.
