Desert RATS Membership

The Desert R.A.T.S. invites YOU to join us at our meetings. Participate in Monday NET night and join the Desert R.A.T.S. DESERT RADIO TRANSMITTING SOCIETY. The purpose of the club is to promote radio knowledge, fraternalism, including individual operating efficiency; to conduct club programs and activities; to advance general interest in amateur radio in the community, all in a fun and social way. We especially invite non Hams or new Hams to see what this hobby is all about! By paying dues you help keep our Repeater in good operating condition and the Desert R.A.T.S. Club developing. Membership is not necessary to come to our meetings.

Who should apply?
Anyone person who is interested in amateur radio operations or the related arts. You do not have to be a licensed Amateur Radio operator or a resident of the Coachella Valley to join the club. We have many members who are snowbirds or live permanently outside the valley.

How much does Membership Cost?
Annual dues are $20.00 per person. Additional family members can be added for 5.00 per person.

We also have a lifetime membership option for a $200.00 per person.

When are Dues Due?
The membership period is from January 1 to December 31. Dues are not prorated. To keep in good standing, please renew your membership between November 1 and December 31.
