NETS that cover the Coachella Valley
On this page we will post any information about the various NET’s that people here in the Coachella Valley may be able to participate in. If you find a NET that is not listed please give us the contact info so that we may be able to contact them and find out if they want us to list it.
Desert RATS Weekly NET
Date: Every Monday Evening
Time: 7:00 PM
Frequency: 146.940 – PL 107.2
Note: Amateur Radio Newsline is broadcast on the RATS repeater at 6:30 PM prior to the weekly RATS NET
Desert RATS Bi-Weekly C4FM / WIRES-X NET
Date: On the second and fourth Mondays of each month
Time: 7:30 PM
Frequency: 449.240 MHz negative offset no PL
Members out of the area can log into this net by connecting to another repeater capable of Wires-X and selecting the Wires-X Room 00080. Similarly, access via a Portable Digital Node (PDN) connection to Room 00080 will also connect to this net.

Coachella Valley ARES NET
Date: 1st and 3rd Monday Nights of each month
Time: 7:30 PM
Frequency: 146.760 (-) PL 107.2
Comments: This net will be run by a different ARES member. Visitors will always be welcome.
National Traffic System (NTS): (Weekly Nets)
Date: Every Tuesday and Thursday
Time: 8:30 PM
Frequency: Edom Hill 448.860 PL 100.0
Comments: The ARRL NTS “Los Angeles Net” is to pass formal radiogram traffic. Please listen and join in. All amateurs are welcome. More information on the NTS can be found on the Los Angeles Section Web site at www.arrllax.org.
