This month we will be having our own Rick Fern K6VE presenting to us. As many have heard, we do have a 1.25cm (220 MHZ) repeater for the HAM Community to use. This repeater is also available to the ARES group during an emergency.
Rick will be presenting to us about that repeater and letting us know about the IRLP system that is hooked connected to the repeater. If you want to learn how to use IRLP and get the commands that can be used on this IRLP system, then come to the meeting.
This repeater is located about 75 feet above the ground on Perez Road in Cathedral City. Because of the location not everyone will be able to connect to it, but it will be fun to see what it can do.
