Jamboree-on-the-Air, or JOTA, is the largest Scouting event in the world. It is held annually the third full weekend in October (15th & 16th). JOTA uses amateur radio to link Scouts and hams around the world, around the nation, and in your own community.
The Palm Springs Post 519 of the American Legion is sponsoring local Boy Scouts to participate in JOTA. The post has it’s own ham club and station, K6TAL but we need adult volunteers to work as control operators over the event.
