The ORION and SPACEX Parachutes
PAPA’s own Bill KQ6BIL will be speaking on the development of the Orion and SpaceX recovery parachutes.
|
Before he retired from Airborne Systems, NA, NJ in February 2025, Bill was the Chief Engineer leading the research and development team. He worked the very early days of both the Orion and SpaceX recovery parachutes in the California division.

You do not need to be a PAPA or RATS member to attend.

Everyone is welcome to come on out for a chance to meet and visit with your on-air friends!

• Ham License Testing @ 9:30am: Register in advance HERE. Remember, you must pre-register for an exam session; no walk-ins. Please arrive before 9:30am

Newly tested successful Technicians will receive a new HT radio provided by the PAPA system and preprogramed with PAPA and local repeaters.
