May 2017 monthly meeting presentation is about Skywarn

Ed Sherman, K6UYL, has been a general class amateur radio operator since 2000. He has been a member of Skywarn since 2005 and the Riverside County Skywarn Coordinator since 2013.

He will be presenting about the background and history of Skywarn. Provide an explanation of the NWS Spotter and Skywarn programs and how we can join. We will discuss the Riverside County Skywarn nets and activations, and demonstrate how to find Skywarn information online.
