Desert RATS Planning Winter Field Day 2020
The Desert RATS are planning for Winter Field Day, January 25th through 26th, 2020. This event is encouraged by the ARRL to get Hams out in winter’s harsh weather and be prepared for such in an emergency. In keeping with the spirit, we plan on being in the “Outdoor” category. Won’t it be great to tell those East Coasters we are operating in shirt sleeves?
We are planning on operating from Lake Cahuilla Recreational Area. All are encouraged to participate whether you want to just stop by for a while – or go all out and campout overnight. Bring your own tent or RV. (park fees apply)
