The 2018 Technician Training Class completed on February 17.
The efforts of the Desert RATS instructors and other volunteers resulted in approximately twenty eight new HAMs. As a number of attendees took their exam and passed about a week earlier at another location the exact number is not known. We look forward to hearing them on the air and at future club meetings.
Your input is requested for upcoming classes. There are two theories on what we the club should focus on in training. One is that we should offer just Technician Classes to increase the number of new HAMs to the hobby. The second is elmering all from their first license all the way up to Extra. What is your opinion of what we should offer in the future? A show of hands will be requested at the meeting on February 20th. Of course if we have the volunteers, anything is possible.
